...clip of his talk show interview on his Facebook profile. When I showed up at his Matthews dorm room for an interview in mid-October, I was afraid that he would be wearing a tie. Instead, Chris was dressed in a t-shirt and jeans. He had a bouncy flip of black hair and an easy smile. I thought we would beat around the bush for awhile, but Chris got right to the point. When he was three years old, he had a poster of the 42 American presidents in his bedroom. Within weeks he had memorized every name...
When students swipe their Harvard ID cards in dining halls starting this Monday, they’ll need to flip them upside down. Instead of using the large stripe, students will need to start swiping with the smaller stripe to get into dining halls, to use Crimson Cash or Board Plus, and for M2 shuttle rides. ...Michigan District 7, Maryland District 1: How Republicans Can Disappear This is the flip side to the Jenkins story. In 2006, conservative Republican Tim Walberg upended moderate Republican incumbent Joe Schwarz in a primary with help from the anti-tax Club for Growth, then claimed his seat in another reliable GOP district. But in 2008, Schwarz endorsed Walberg's Democratic opponent, Mark Schauer, who portrayed Walberg as an extremist and is now heading to Washington. The same thing may happen on Maryland's Eastern Shore, where Club for Growth conservative Andy Harris successfully primaried moderate Republican incumbent Wayne Gilchrist...
