Work on the repairs to the Rotch Building to fit it up for a mining laboratory has progressed very satisfactorily. Considerable changes are to be made in Holyoke House during the coming summer. Heretofore rooms 4, 9, 10 and 14 of the second floor and the corresponding rooms on the three floors above have had two bedrooms; one on the outside, the other opening into an air-shaft within.
