Another unusual piece was a Suite for Flute and Guitar by Kaspar Furstenau, a contemporary of Beethoven. Its rather uninteresting music was partially redeemed by the sparkling flute playing of Karl Kraber, and the rare use of a guitar as the accompanying instrument.
