...exciting to see my old alma mater, which used to be called Shenandoah College and Conservatory of Music, in Time [Dec. 8]. I only wish you had mentioned something about other programs it offers. The school has come a long way since 1976, when the focus was on the four-year music school, with a nursing-degree program and other degrees offered as well. While it is very important to help set College priorities, it is unclear what role students will have in keeping a focus on the undergraduate experience in light of fiscal challenges.
