High schools and colleges can help eliminate some of the negative implications of the games. Stop holding pep rallies which incite the fans to kill that Saturday's foe. Field hockey, volleyball and baseball teams don't seem to have any trouble getting psyched for their games without dancing in a gymnasium full of bunners and screaming fans.
