...rather interesting fact has come to light, explaining how Mrs. Elizabeth Fogg was led to leave her recent bequest of $220,000 to Harvard College. It seems that it had been her intention to build an observatory in Central Park, New York City, in honor of her late husband. The memorial was to be magnificently built and equipped.
