"Now that foot-ball excitement has subsided, athletic enthusiasts are turning attention to next season's base-ball nine. The showing of the 1885 team was a sore disappointment to the college. While it may be said that the material now in college out of which the nine must be chosen is not regarded promising, yet it is believed that a better record than that of last year's team will be made when Yale again...
