Although it rained all the forenoon, the Harvard nine decided to play their scheduled game with the University of Pennsylvania. The game was close, but this was due chiefly to the condition of the grounds. A large audience was present and did its best to help along Pennsylvania, cheering all the errors of the Harvards.
