Messrs. J. H. Taylor, B. I., and J. A. C. Wright, '81, rode in the final heat for the one-hundred-yards slow race. The former won very leisurely, in 4 m. 8 sec.
The last event was a two-mile handicap, for which there were the following entries:-
The race was a pretty one. Swan gradually passed every one but Williston, who had taken the lead; and, for the last two laps, there was a continual spurt between the two. Swan, however, won, by about three feet. Time, 7 m. 30 1/4 sec.
