Word was received yesterday of the death of Lieutenant James Kennedy Moorhead '17 and Law School, while leading his men in the drive on the Metz Fortress on the Verdun front last October. Moorhead left the University in April, 1917, for Fort Niagara where he was commissioned second lieutenant and assigned to the 22nd Regiment of the Regular Army at Fort Hamilton, N. Y.
