...F.N.L.A.-UNITA forces to gain recognition for their own government in Huambo (formerly Nova Lisboa). Although the Organization of African Unity remains neutral in the conflict, three more members -Nigeria, Tanzania and Dahomey (which last week changed its name to the Republic of Benin)-have in the past fortnight recognized the M.P.L.A.'S Luanda government because of South Africa's backing of F.N.L.A.-UNITA.
