Another fumble by 1912 was recovered by the Seniors and Beard kicked a field goal from the 20-yard line. After an exchange of punts later, the Sophomores failed in an attempted forward pass and were penalized to their 20-yard line. Here their kick was blocked, and they punted again from the 10-yard line. From this point till the end of the half the ball did not approach either goal line...

During the secret football practice in the Stadium yesterday afternoon, the first and second teams had a long, hard scrimmage. Aided by a fumbled punt and a pretty forward pass to Crowley, the second team was able to score on the first, a feat which has been accomplished only once before this season. However, the first team came back very hard and scored four times on the second, plunging straight through the line on the old fashioned plays. The second team used Cornell formations almost entirely, and these plays are being used to prepare the team for the game...
