...five goals scored, two were credited to G. A. Percy '18, one to T. H. Rice '17 and two to G. Townsend '17. The first of Percy's tallies came toward the beginning of the scrimmage as the result of some fast passing by all the members of the forward line. His second was scored on a rebound from the backboard of the shortened rink. Townsend obtained both his goals on beautiful long shots after passes from Captain Morgan and Percy respectively. Rice slipped the puck past the goal tender after it had bounded back from his shin-guards...
There were several changes in the line-up of team B. R. Baldwin '17 was the only member of the forward line to hold his position, for shifts were made in all of the other three. W. W. Rice '18 replaced W. O. Morgan '18 at left wing, and H. M. Bliss '17 took the place of R. H. Kissel '19 at the other extremity of the line. E. B. Condon '18 moved up to right centre, displacing T. K. Fisher '17. One change was also made in the defence, for A. W. Gardner '18 was put in at coverpoint...

Nearly all the playing in this half was in Yale's territory and a larger score was prevented only by the many excellent stops of York, the Yale goal guard. Hills of Princeton made the first goal 12 minutes after the start of the game and Armour of Yale made a lucky goal three minutes later...
...such determined opposition from the defence of Team B, consisting of W. C. Appleton '17 and T. H. Eckfeldt '17, that they were unable to score frequently. The University backs, Captain Morgan and H. K. White '19 were even more effective and by playing up close behind their forward line frequently stropped the rushes of the substitutes before they had got started. The advantage throughout was with the backs, neither forward line being able to break up the defence...
