...seventh, Goodman knocked a sharp grounder to Foster who ran him out at first, but the play resulted in an injury to Cozzens' which made Harvard's prospects seem very blue. Cozzens ran across to cover first and collided with Foster, receiving a bad cut on the ankle. Cozzens showed the effects of his injury in the eighth. Bement went out on a fly to centre, which Manning got under after a long run, and Chamberlin followed with a home run hit beyond the Willows.
