Jaffray was hit by a pitched ball, Taylor got his base on balls, and the bases were filled by Litchfield's taking first on another wild throw by Foster. An error by Rainbolt allowed McCall to reach first, while Jaffray scored. Dibblee made a pretty drive over third base which, aided by his drawing the throw at second, enabled three more men to cross the plate.
