...meeting of the Harvard Club of St. Louis last autumn the question of founding a new university scholarship was discussed and a committee consisting of Professor Marshall S. Snow '65 of Washington University, President E. H. Sears '74 of Mary Institute, and George B. Leighton '88, was appointed by the president of the club, Dr. John Green '55, to consult the other St. Louis graduates about the matter.
