Medpedia—an online collaborative medical encyclopedia affiliated with Harvard Medical School—debuted Tuesday after months of closed beta testing, receiving 12,000 unique visits on its first day, according to its founder. There's an ancient, hand-cranked printing press in Schibsted's spanking modern lobby. Founder Christian Schibsted used this press to print his first newspapers in the mid-1800s.
