Harvard was blanked in the first inning, but scored in the second on Willard's hit and errors by Higney and Cahill. In the fourth, Willard made a hit, went to second on Henshaw's single, took third on Gallivan's grounder to Moran and scored on a passed ball. Gallivan and Howland also scored in this inning on a hit and several passed balls. Harvard did not do anything until the seventh, when Boyden led off with a clean hit to centre, took second on a wild pitch, third on Dean's sacrifice to Meade, and came home...

...FOURTH INNING.- Henshaw made a base hit; Willard and Boyden took their base on balls, filling the bases. Gallivan knocked a grounder to pitcher, forcing Henshaw, who was put out while running home, Mumford hit to centre, bringing in Willard and Boyden. Linn hit to right. Gallivan came in. Campbell went out on three strikes and Knowlton on a fly to left field...
...their doubles in costumes and size-Dexter, Whiting and Fairbank-appeared and were in turn encored. Then all six nymphs appeared together. In the third act, Brunhilde's and Siegfried's solos were well received, as well as the bloody murder of Siegfried by the villain Hagen. In the fourth act, the wailing dirge, "Why did he die," sung intentionally out of tune by the chorus, and the grovelling on the ground and appearance of Siegfried's ghost which followed, were well applauded. Then followed a number of tricks by Hagen and Gunther, which were very well received...
...fourth number of the Advocate comes out today. It is fairly up to standard of the Advocate and is certainly an interesting number...
