Yesterday afternoon on Soldiers Field the second freshman nine defeated the nine of the English High School in a seven inning game by the score of 20 to 8. Holt pitched fairly well for the freshmen though somewhat wild at times. Ely pitched the last inning. Ward pitched for the High School and was hit heavily.
