Messrs. Keene, '80, and Freeland, '81, were the contestants on the horizontal bar, and afforded a most graceful and pleasing entertainment. Mr. Keene's most noticeable feat, the difficulty of which was not at all appreciated by the spectators, was the Giant Vault, which consists of swinging under the bar once and back, and, as the body comes forward the second time, lifting the feet up so as to vault through the hands over the bar.
