...KIDDER, Captain of Harvard Freshman Crew.Some time ago there was some complaint at the delay on the part of the freshman management in replying to Yale's challenge. At that time there was some apprehension lest the authorities here should forbid the freshmen to row any intercollegiate race. It was thought necessary on account of '91's defeat last year by Columbia to challenge Columbia this year, but on account of the doubt in regard to being allowed to row any race, no challenge was sent for some time.
