Instead of a game with the Manual Training School team, as had been expected, yesterday the Freshmen went through practice in tackling and falling on the ball as usual. After this practice and a short drill in punting the two teams lined up and played a short, fast game. During the tackling practice, Ellis, one of the most promising half-backs, was hurt in the ankle. He had just come out after being laid up for several days on account of an injury to his leg, and it is hoped this second injury will not interfere with his playing...
