Prominent among the vexations consequent to the beginning of a college year, considerable trouble is generally caused by students finding that books for certain branches cannot be procured at once; particularly is this so in the case of books that are published abroad. It is very disagreeable to fritter away two or three weeks at the commencement of the term, and it seems entirely unnecessary.
