Hart is aiming for "young Democratic activists," says Coordinator Pouland. Working with Dallas Congressman Martin Frost, Hart's state chairman, Pouland has helped place operatives in the half of the state's 6,600 precincts that contains 90% of the vote. When British Talk Show Host David Frost recorded five interview programs with former President Richard Nixon in 1977, CBS News refused to bid for the broadcast rights, preferring to avoid disputes over "checkbook journalism."
