...that this was primarily due to the mishandling of the case by the Los Angeles Police Department. Whether Simpson is guilty, only he only he knows for sure. But given the multitude of mistakes made during the investigation and the blow to the prosecution of having Detective Mark Fuhrman perjure himself on the stand, was there any other verdict the jury could have returned?
