...Bullard, the second by Goodridge and Hollister. Since they have been in the tank the first crew has shown some improvement, but the men have still many faults. They are apt to bury their oars by swinging on with the shoulders instead of raising the hands at the full reach. This brings the power at the beginning of the stroke instead of when the legs go on. They also rush their slides and the last part of the recover. Time inboard is fairly good, but outboard it is rather ragged. The crew will probably go on the river some time...
