Some of this may be funnier than the networks intended, but if not, the viewer can try one of the new sitcoms. Several comedy half-hours have jumped aboard Archie Bunker's blue-collar bus−one, NBC's Lotsa Luck, quite literally. The show stars Dom DeLuise as an ex-bus driver promoted to clerk in the lost-and-found department. (In its first episode last week, Lotsa Luck stretched Bunker bluntness into common vulgarity with a plot that revolved entirely around a purple-lidded, tangerine-colored toilet.) Just as DeLuise contends with his crotchety/lazy/dumb family relations...

...Tuck's tricks are every bit as reprehensible as the Watergate breakin, albeit a great deal funnier on the surface. Politics ought not to be humorless, but it is serious business, and the manipulation of a candidate's campaign by outsiders is disgusting no matter who does the manipulating...

...reaching display of capsulated argument, Kolakowski gives every appearance of deserving his growing reputation. As if the effort to relativize Moscow's dictates to the Communist conscience weren't enough, a Marxist with a sense of humor ought to be heard. Kolakowski is more serious, and for that reason, funnier than the ideological comedians this country has to offer...
