Soprano Elizabeth Kalkhurst and tenor Malcolm Ticknor gave program in Lowell Common Room Sunday evening of art songs and operatic excerpts ranging from Elizabethan period to the present. Ticknor has luscious G-G octave, which he handles expertly, but lower notes as yet weak and unfocused. Soprano not up to her usual standard.
