...scrimmage in yesterday afternoon's practice was, like that of Tuesday, devoted mainly to developing the defensive work of the first team. The second eleven was given the ball time after time in the first team's territory, once gaining the 5-yard line on a forward pass, but they were unable to gain although given several extra downs.
