The ball was well down into Yale's territory. It was three downs and Bliss punted short, hardly to the centre of the field. Corbett muffed the punt, and Trafford who was backing him up also fumbled it. Hinkey gave a dive and the ball was Yale's at the centre of the field. Rushes carried it straight up the field towards Harvard's goal...
Corbett no gain. Trafford no gain. Three downs and then a punt by Trafford. The ball came back to Harvard on her 35 yard line. This time the backs gained their distance, and Hallowell wriggled through for six yards more. Corbett and Trafford got five yards, but Harvard was holding in the rush line and Yale broke the offensive. Back to the crimson 30 yard line Yale rushed the ball. Harvard showed her strength in the centre and got it in four downs...
