John Bamber Hickam '36, of Galveston, Texas, has been awarded the Jacob Wendell Scholarship, one of the leading undergraduate honors at the University, it was announced yesterday. Hickam prepared at the Western High School in Washington, D. C., but his home is at Fort Crockett, in Galveston where his father is an officer in the United States Air Corps.
