The Freshmen, aided by a strong wind, scored twice in the first fifteen minutes, and secured a lead of twelve points that the Sophomores could not overcome. During the rest of the game 1903 was on the defensive, and by the splendid punting of Stillman, prevented their opponents from scoring. The latter, by vigorous rushing with the tackles, often ran the ball well into the Freshman territory, but lost it by fumbling at critical times.
