ITHACA, N. Y., Feb. 22, 1907,-The University basketball team defeated Cornell here this evening, in the first game of the second round of the Intercollegiate series, by the score of 33 to 13. Brown excelled for Harvard, throwing five baskets from the floor and one from a foul in the first half. Brooks also played a very strong and aggressive game, shooting four goals, but he was rather lax in covering his man. After the game with Cornell the team will return to Boston and proceed immediately to Hanover, N. H., to play Dartmouth on Saturday evening. The following men will be taken on the trip: Captain E. L.
