The plot centres about the endeavors of a young collegian named Wigglesworth to earn an honest living, and his infatuation with May Lifter, the daughter of Thomas Lawson Lifter, a Chicago magnate. His college career is cut short by the villainy of an uncle who robbed him of his money, and he goes west to seek his fortune in Tacoma, where Thomas Lawson Lifter with his two daughters...
