Usage:

...pilot announces our descent and we land at 7:50. My hopes for a smooth finale to our infernal voyage are rapidly extinguished. We taxi around for a bit, as if the plane needs more exercise. The depressed pilot says that Logan only has six gates for shuttles and that they are all occupied. A shuttle ahead of us waits for a gate as well.
