...Rainbow Over Dallas I want to thank John Cloud for writing "The Lavender Heart of Texas," about Dallas' flourishing gay community [May 28]. I recently graduated from the University of Oklahoma and took a job in Dallas this year. I was leery of moving five hours from my hometown, but as a gay man, I felt I needed a community that was more accepting. As I've been questioning my decision, Cloud's article has helped put things into much better perspective.
