Friendly Winter. The German attack in June 1941 caught the Red Air Force by surprise. Appalling numbers of Red planes were destroyed on the ground. Three More Months. Barring unexpected catastrophes of battle, the war peak will be reached in three more months, stay on a plateau for a little while, then start downward.
