Duggar, the discoverer, called this antibiotic aureomycin. First used on human patients at New York's Harlem Hospital by Dr. Louis T. Wright, the "gold dust" worked wonders for victims of lymphogranuloma. Like Chloromycetin, it deals with many of the rickettsias.
