In the second innings Kent got his first, Thayer went out, when Ernst got a heavy hit to left field which the fielder failed to get in front of, and before the ball could be returned home Kent and Ernst had both scored. The Harvards batted the Princeton pitcher much better than in the first game, and played an almost perfect fielding game. The Princetons were naturally nervous from their loss of sleep the night before...
