The question is, Why is there no course in Zoology to correspond to the Botany and Chemistry courses? SKATING.Why can't the Athletic Association give some skating-races this winter, and so help to fill up the dull season? A course could be easily laid out, on Fresh Pond or some other neighboring water, of say a straight quarter-mile, and races of a mile, half-quarter, hundred yards, etc., could be easily given. If the H. A. A. will do so, the editor of this column will give a $ 10 cup for a race of quarter-mile heats, best two in three.
