Professor F. C. de Sumicharst, of the French Department, will give a series of seven illustrated lectures upon "The British Empire, Its Origin and Growth," under the auspices of the Victoria League in the United States. The lectures will be delivered in Chickering Hall, Boston, at 8 o'clock in the evening, on the following dates: October 27, November 17; December 15, January 19, February 16, March 16, and April 20.
