Private First Class Calvin Glover snuck into Private First Class Barry Winchell's room with a baseball bat during the pre-dawn hours of July 5. Just a few hours after drunkenly celebrating the anniversary of our nation's independence, Glover bludgeoned Winchell to death solely on the basis of Winchell's suspected homosexuality. "How'd you get blood on your bat?" Fisher asked. "I hit Winchell with it," Glover allegedly replied. The pair went outside to check on Winchell. The cot, the nearby walls and Winchell's blanket were all splashed in crimson. Glover slipped a gloved hand underneath Winchell's battered head. "Yeah," he said. "He's done." Nasty began barking loudly. Glover fled...
