Florida's alligators have done such an admirable job of reproducing themselves that they have swung from near extinction to overpopulation during the past decade. But that is not good enough for Frank Godwyn, whose farm near Orlando produces alligators like chickens. Godwyn's company uses a technique of artificial insemination developed by Paul Cardeilhac, a University of Florida veterinarian.
