...second hockey team won from Milton yesterday in a spirited game by a score of 6 to 0. The ice was fast and the game was hard fought but marked by a good deal of slashing and roughness. Captain Powel, Timpson and Clark starred for the seconds, Powel making three of the six goals. Milton was beaten by the Freshmen last Saturday 5 to 1, but the seconds showed superior team work. ...interdormitory games were played yesterday afternoon, in both of which Gore was defeated, first by Smith, 4 to 1, and later by Standish, 3 to 0. There was naturally little combination play on any of the teams, but P. C. Newton, J. A. Burden, and H. L. Tibbetts played good individual games for Smith, Gore, and Standish respectively.
