Both got an ovation before they hustled off to a party to celebrate the Philharmonic's departure on a seven-week Latin American tour. For Felicia Montealegre, wearing a cape and Gothic-style gown by Valentina, the most pointed appreciation came from her 2½-year-old when he spied her in costume: "Ah,'' he cried, "Superman...
They were all on hand last week-the critics and choreographers, the dancers, designers and devoted fans-to greet the tiny woman with the haunting eyes and the New England Gothic face. After three years, partly spent touring abroad. Dancer Martha Graham had returned with her ballet company to perform in Manhattan, bringing with her a satchelful of Graham favorites and two new works: a sophisticated sexual romp called Embattled Garden and an evening-length ballet titled Clytemnestra, the most ambitious effort in years by the priestess of modern dance...

It is the first church designed by Skyscraper Architect Wallace K. Harrison (U.N. Building...

One of the best, The Little Photographer, tells a brooding crime story about a beautiful marquise who dallies in the bracken with an impoverished young photographer, then shoves him off a cliff to a Mediterranean grave. In the televersion, retitled The Violent Heart by Adapter Leslie Stevens, the little photographer (Ben Gazzara) died when he accidentally crashed through the balustrade of a Riviera ruin. This sapped the story...
