...exercises which should include the giving of diplomas to those who have earned them. This was the first time that such a plan has been followed, and the exercises, which were held Thursday evening, were interesting. About 150 members were graduated, receiving from President Ely diplomas which represented three grades, one for faithful attendance, another for good progress in the work of the year, and the third grade for excellent progress.
