Singles losers in straight sets for the varsity were Gravem, Harris, Captain John Rauh, Alex Haegler, Mann, and Don Spencer, in that order. Gravem was beaten by Bill Cranston, 6-1, 6-2, in the first singles. Haegler pulled a muscle early in his match against Dave Seifer. Although he completed the singles, the junior had to sit out the doubles. Coach Jack Barnaby left Rauh at first doubles and replaced Haegler with Canfield. The second doubles duo of Spencer and Bossart remained intact...
