Thomas Hetherington Graydon '03, fullback, prepared at St. Paul's, Concord, where he played tackle and fullback for two years. He also rowed on the school crew. On his Freshman eleven he played tackle and in his Sophomore year was substitute tackle on the University eleven playing in the Yale game. Last year he was regular fullback on the eleven. Immediately after the kickoff, the first team secured the ball on downs at the 30 yard line. Shea gained 5 yards, Kernan made the same distance around the end, Knowlton an Graydon advanced 8 yards in three plays, the former went through right guard for 5 yards and again for 6 yards, and from the 1 yard line Graydon made the only touchdown of the afternoon. During the remainder of the game the second eleven was allowed to keep the ball nearly the whole time, but was unable to make any impression on the first eleven's line...
