Kernan gained ten yards on his return punt and J. Lawrence recovered the ball on Bowdoin's fumble. Graydon and Kendall then made a series of short plunges which took the ball to the three yard line. Kernan easily broke through left tackle and scored the first touchdown after five minutes of play. J. Lawrence kicked the goal.
