Daly, who took his place, besides running the team well, made a drop-kick goal from the 30 yard line. He was slow in getting away his punts. Graydon was the only one of the backs who could gain ground steadily. Putnam punted poorly and did not follow his interference closely. Derby, Jones and Devens gained some ground at times, but were not reliable enough, McGrew kept his feet well and was able to gain consistently on line plunges...
